I was super inspired to post here again after an insane coincidence happened!. I was in an online class (thanks, covid) where we were supposed to redo all the sounds and music for an animation we chose. We were encouraged to use sound libraries and freesound. Org. In one classmate's animation, a sound he used seemed very familiar, and then it hit me. . It's my sound! from this site! the crazy part is he has my same first name. But anyway, thank you for taking a look and listen to this sound which is about 2 years old now, heh. I went to this exhibit about electronic and/or audio stuff. In the show they were doing on stage, they brought various tesla coils and things i forgot the name of. I decided to take a video. Within that video, is this sound! feel free to use this sound wherever, however, whenever you want. I ain't uploading on freesound for nothin'. ;d. The only processing i did was cutting out any talking during the raw recording.

This audio contains a guitar performance of lily was here song. It was recorded using a fender player telecaster guitar and yamaha audio gram 6 audio interface as recording set up. Tempo: 108. The setup to record this performance and the other ones in the same dataset (five guitar dataset) is explained here: the setup used a yamaha audio gram 6 audio interface and reaper 10 to record guitar from direct input (di), a huawei p30 lite model mar-lx1a to record guitar from a mobile and a dell inspiron 13 5000 to record guitar from a computer. To record acoustic guitar in di, i used a fishman neo d single coin on larrivée and seymour duncan seth love on the eastman connected to a nap-5 stageman floor acoustic preamp going then to the audio interface. The computer and mobile were positioned approximately 3. 8 cm from the player position (measured from the twelve fret of the guitars). The electric guitars were plugged into a dv mark little jazz guitar amp which has a di output, that was connected to the audio interface. The amp was located at a distance of 114. 5 cm from the mobile and the computer.

Wrote/recorded a free orchestral tune at 175-bpm using ableton live 9. Ableton stock plugins used: braskinski, grand pianoezdrummer2 used for percussion sections. Kontact5 used for trumpet, trombone, string, bass sections. Guitarrig5 used for electric guitar elements. -15. 0 lufs integrated. -2. 1 db true peak max. This sample consists of noise recorded via a hondo strat electric guitar resp. The guitar's neck pickup. Throughout the sample there is a low hum. In the beginning, a mobile phone was moved in front of the pickup. The noise might have been created by the clock of the phone's cpu or the backlight of the phone. After that, one crt display is switched on resulting in a buzz. Later on, a second crt display is switched on, again resulting in a buzz followed by additional noise in higher frequencies. Then, a neon light is switched on, creating even more noise. Towards the end, again the mobile phone. . . The guitar was connected to a scott&noble ht25r amplifier which was recorded with a t. Bone sc450 condenser and a behringer ddx3216 digital console directly into ardour.

This is almost the same kick drum i´ve uploaded previously, but this has more compression and overtones in the sub bass, along with an interesting technique i´ve been doing, lemme explain. . . I put the original sample twice in my daw (fl studio if you ask),leave the first sound like it is and the second sample is being equalized in a way that only the sub bass is being showed, so i added to that the saturation plugin ivgi2 from klangheim industries and slammed it with the plugin ott by xfer records about 9 times. Equalized the sound again to cut the sub bass and leave the raw high end sound you hear, finally added an izotope ozone imager to make it wider.

A little thing i came up with while doing some research on how j macis writes music. Found out he puts a capo on the second fret and by doing that this japanese pop chord progression i learned by watching a video marty friedman did on japanese style guitar improv was sounding a lot better than without one. Recorded with a shitty usb mic i got for 20$ against an orange crush 20rt, effects used were a blues driver and a tube screamer.

I was surprised this still worked. This is an old ibm selectric ii typewriter, with correcting tape, the “quieter” selectric at the time. It’s about 80 pounds, a real back-breaker. The carriage return bell is broken, unfortunately, so the best you might hear it is rattling due to the belt vibration. Recorded with a tascam dr-05, without the low-cut since i wanted a beefy sound. Placed direcly above the roller, about 12 inches away. I swapped the channels in audacity to match perception & sampled down to 48khz. Description: i roll in some paper, type a few paragraphs from some copy, and roll it out when i’m done. Man, can you type fast on these machines!.

Recorded with my squier telecaster and squire mini-bass through the focusrite interface into reaper. A nod to kenny gioia for the reaper tips. The guitar was sent through the walrus slo pedal on 'dream' setting. Also added a pitch change to compliment some of the guitar parts. The bass was double tracked for better sound. Bass amp is a behringer bxl1800. Comments welcome. Thrilling and cool music i made in garageband for something called victors crypt!. Made this drumbeat with a lot of percussions. After i recorded the bass i decided to go with an "airy" guitar with a lot of reverb in the chords. I added electric guitar and a synth-choir as well. Non-functional tube radio warming up, making a loud 60hz hum with lots of harmonics. As a bonus it clicks off at the end. Zenith consoltone. Only because the faq says so: electro voice n/d 257a through impedance transformer into crappy gigabyte motherboard realtek high definition audio. 16bits, processed at 32bits. Audacity sound editor and/or driver wouldn't record mic level so it was very noisy after amplification. Filtered with a (mathematically equivalent) fft constructed whopping 64k length zero phase filter (blackman window) with 5 wavelength width bandpass at each harmonic from 60hz to 5,520hz. For some reason a fraction of some of the harmonics didn't get through so did another pass on the residual noise and mixed that in. Near the beginning there was a sort of brief duplicate signal that descended in pitch so it didn't make it through the filter. I added that bit in. Attenuated frequencies above 3. 6khz because they are pretty much noise, but removing them didn't sound right. Cleaned up the beginning a bit in various ways, cut it down to 15 sec and carefully appended the unfiltered "click" onto the end, which i denoised 12db with audacity's noise reduction.

Recorded in my dad's bedroom with lifecam hd3000 webcam. This is a much better recording than my previous oxygen concentrator file, as i hauled my desktop into the bedroom at the other end of the apartment where the machine now is, when i was home alone. The webcam is on the bed about 3 or 4 feet from the machineat the beginning of the file you hear me flip the big switch and the machine comes on with a long on beep and thumps. I edited it to start then. At 00:1. 8 what i suspect is the water pump comes on, though i may be wrong. That's when the gurgling starts though. The machine has a small reservoir for distilled water to moisten the airflow. A cup or two lasts several daysyou'll hear various hisses and thumps in a 15. 6 second cycle as it runs. At 03:03 i flip the big switch to shut the machine off, and it bubbles and gurgles away for the rest of the file, as water i assume slowly perculates back into the reservoir, the bubbling getting quieter and quieter until it doesn't even sound like bubbling anymore, until it finally ticks to a stop. At 03:16 you hear me step as i get my foot loose from the mic cord lol. At 04:13 the furnace shuts down as a car finishes going by outside in the bass register, faint traffic noises and the furnace being the only background noises you'll hear aside from my moving around a couple times, and a faint bluejay at the end. At about 07:00 you can barely hear the machine anymore, but i could hear a faint ticking with my own ears. At 07:04 the furnace comes back on. At 07:08 you'll hear a bluejay faintly calling outside and a car going by outside after, which finishes the file at 07:20. I edited out my walking to the computer to shut the recording down.
